What is this blog? (Editoral and links to content)

Not quite a self portrait ...
There is no one thing that I write about. However there are common themes (links included):
Many more can be found in the Categories section of the side bar. There maybe some overlap (when a blog defies pigeon holing) but generally I try to keep blogs in one category. You can also use the Tags as well to find such cross overs that may fall outside the category section (bottom of side bar).
I will always include links so that you can see where I have obtained my information from. Most blogs here are original copy by myself, though now and again I will include articles that are freely available from the internet. Especially those from the BBC News site or from Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris.
Please feel free to comment, even if you disagree – I go for the argument rather than try to personalise things. Though I reserve the right to moderate at my discretion, on the basis of insults or hate speech. By all means leave a link to a blog you have done that is on the same subject. But please do not comment with a link that has nothing to do with the blog in question. If all you are after is to pimp your blog you can do so on this Open Day Blog – please leave a description of what your blog is about. Those people that I admire (or at least know about) are included on my blog roll which you can find on the side bar.
By all means link to this blog, or quote from – all I ask is that it be free for the public to view and that I am acknowledged as the author either as Homo economicus’ Weblog, Homoeconomicusnet, Homo economicus or John Sargeant with a link to the particular blog or the address http://homoeconomicusnet.wordpress.com/. I reserve the right under law to be recognised as the author of this blog, and where not acknowledged as a re post or quote, claim ownership of original writing. I am however open to precious metals or green pieces of paper should anyone want to republish a blog where people pay to view content.
You can contact me by leaving a comment on here.
I am not paid for any of the blogs I write, and all views or opinions I express are mine alone and no reflection on those organisations I am involved with. This is a labour of love, and I hope that you have enjoyed this blog. If you find the consumer surplus too high from reading this blog, then there is a way of showing your appreciation. Any donations given will go towards expenses in covering things for the blog.
Thank you for reading.
