A Pakistani court has given the death sentence to a man from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province who was convicted for blasphemy for allegedly insulting the Prophet.
It seems the neighbourhood turned against Hazrat. Though no one has been executed since blasphemy was made a capital punishment in 1986, the law is used in disputes and rivalries. At present it can be relied upon to whip up a mob in hysteria.
The Prophet was unavailable for comment.
